GUIDED DIVES - Fancy taking a dip into the local waters of Torbay to discover our beautiful coastline? Ideal for tourists wanting to explore under the waves!
DISCOVER SNORKELLING - Fed up with laying on the beach on holiday? Why not take a break from sunbathing and dive into the underwater world. You will learn all the correct snorkelling techniques taught by professional Aqualearn instructors.
DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING - An ideal dip into the world of Scuba Diving! This course offers you the opportunity to take your first breaths underwater within the confines of a swimming pool. Teaching you the basics, such as Mask Clearing, Regulator Recovery and Learning Basic Safety Concepts. On successful completion you will be presented with a certificate recognised with PADI. The pool session can then be followed up by a sea dive at an extra charge. This Activity is also ideal for PARTIES, SCHOOLS, YOUTH GROUPS, TEAM BUILDING, STAG AND HEN PARTIES.
OPEN WATER - This course qualifies you to dive to depths of 18m anywhere in the world! The emphasis in this and all our courses is to provide realistic diving experiences.
ADVANCED - Take the next step onto an advanced course and increase your skills and diving experiences. Join in and experience dives at night, shipwrecks and photography.
RESCUE DIVER - During Rescue Training Sessions, student divers learn techniques for self rescue, as well as assisting other divers with minor and major problems. Knowledge and Skill development come together as student divers problem solve realistic rescue scenarios in open water conditions.
DIVEMASTER - As the entry level to professional levels in diver training, the PADI Divemaster course plays a pivotal role within the PADI sysyem of Diver education. Those who join the PADI Divemaster ranks assist you and other instructors with training student divers. they supervise diving activities for certified divers, snorkellers and skin divers.
SPECIALITIES - The purpose of the PADI Speciality Diver courses is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards forvarious special-interest areas in diving.
PROJECT AWARE - is a non profit organization dedicated to conserving underwater environments through education, advocacy and action. In partnership with divers and water enthusiasts, we work to protect aquatic environments in 175 countries and territories of the world.
Project AWARE and dedicated dive volunteers are committed to conservation initiatives including: *Underwater Cleanups, Coral Reef Conservation, Shark Education, Environmental Training for Scuba Divers and Education Programs for Kids.

*With water all around us in this beautiful part of the world, it is essential that our children are given the opportunity to learn skills that keep themselves and others safe.
*This scheme is developed by the Royal National Lifesaving Society UK and run by Aqualearn. There are 3 stages; Bronze, Silver and Gold and each stage is subdivided into 3 levels.
*The courses are taught by a member of the Aqualearn Team who is a qualified Rookie Instructor and teaches in a friendly, informal manner, including lots of fun and games both in the pool and in the classroom.
*The skills taught includes Entry, Exits, Survival Skills, Using Objects as Buoyancy Aids, Lifesaving Strokes and Hand Signals and much more.
*When each stage has been successfully completed each child is presented with a certificate and badge
Bronze Medallion
  
*The Bronze Medallion Award is the next stepping stone in the Lifesavers series of courses after the Rookie qualifications.
*Its aim is to establish competent leves of knowledge, understanding and practical ability in rescue situations.
*Course syllabus includes Water Safety, Survival in Water and Rescue Principles.
*Part of the course is the Life Support Module, (please see below)
*The minimum age for this course is 13 years old unless holding an assistant Beach Lifesaver Award, a Rookie Star Grade 4, Level 4, Lifesaving 3 or equivalent.
Life Support
The aim of this part of the syllabus is to demonstrate an effective level of skill in life support and knowledge of the diagnosis and management of choking, bleeding and shock.
